More people than ever are beginning to realize that there’s no cookie-cutter recipe for success and happiness. We’re here to put a spotlight on the ladies that aren’t afraid to break the mold and ‘stretch’ to the beat of their own drum. With that said, meet Avery Hinchman: Georgia peach, fitness guru, & fabulous fashionista.
A Decision to Be Bold
Avery went to Ole Miss after graduating from the Woodward Academy in Atlanta. Half way through sophomore year, she decided it wasn’t a good fit. She then moved back home to Atlanta to refocus her attention on what she actually wanted to do with her life.
Since being home I’ve taken time off to focus on my fitness passion, teaching at both Flywheel and Thunderbolt Power Yoga.
Avery’s friends describe her as “busy, passionate, and talkative”. With an upbeat personality and a love of fitness, it only made sense that she pursued something in that field.
Style Inspiration
Her style is inspired by Blake Lively’s take on Serena van der Woodsen, Kendall Jenner, and Morgan Stewart Fitzpatrick. Avery loves to dress up in Milly, Tibi, and L’academie.
My style honestly varies depending on what I’m doing. If I’m going out, I like to feel chic, but sexy, so I’m probably wearing a jumpsuit or maybe a bodysuit with jeans- most likely from Planet Blue. As far as vacationing/dinner/events, I love to feel fun and flirty, again a good jumpsuit or something simple with an added flare. I can also never resist a good one piece bathing suit.
When she’s not teaching classes or out shopping, you can catch this ATL native walking her precious pup or getting in some TLC at Drybar (they know Avery and her dog by first name there). In the evenings, you can catch her socializing at some of Atlanta’s hippest spots.
Words Of Wisdom
A true ATLien, Avery advises newcomers to the city to just put themselves out there. Don’t be afraid of being uncomfortable, and just go out and meet people.
Atlantans are friendly. If you meet one person, they’ll introduce you to twenty more.
